About Me

I’m a Fil-Am writer who is passionate about diversity, particularly Asian representation, in all forms of media. I incorporate my Filipino American upbringing into my writing and use my writing as a means to dive deeper into my heritage.

In 2019, I graduated from the American University of Paris with a B.A. in creative writing. While I was in Paris, I also explored other forms of storytelling such as film, video journalism, and screenwriting. Check out my two favorite videos I’ve ever made: Home and Solar Village.

In 2024, I won the Adult Fiction category in the San Francisco Writers Conference for my short story Young Men. Young Men is also featured in my anthology, Songs for Mahalia (2026). Other publications include my short story Notes on Windsor Drive was published in The Storyteller Magazine in March 2014.

Apart from writing, I’ve worked in both non-profit and corporate organizations where I implemented project management tools into marketing, events, and communication projects. I am well-versed in meeting deadlines and improving processes to increase efficiency.

I now utilize my project management background and creative skills to help writers achieve their writing goals.
